From the Chair...
Dear Readers,
It is with great pleasure that we resume the dialogue between students, faculty, and enthusiasts of the Botanical world, an interaction that began in 1950s, spurred by Prof. P. Maheshwari, a doyen and luminary Chair of the Department of Botany, University of Delhi. This issue of The Botanica is special, as it bridges years of challenges caused by the pandemic, into an avatar with relevant format of the times. The Botanica is now on-line. This issue and the online format was ably developed by the students of the editorial team with support of the editors-in-chief, Prof. Sudeshna Mazumdar-Leighton and Dr. Ratul Baishya. We commend the efforts of the team and welcome future contributors to The Botanica online.Happy Reading!
